A very handsomely produced folio sized edition of Bunyan's Immortal Tale, complete with a very handsome horizontally bifurcated typeset with text on top and extensive commentary by C. H. H. Wright at the lower, then the whole illustrated with integral woodcuts and full page color chromolithographs by H. Castelli and G. Bartsch. Very nice.

Good + in large folio format, measuring 9 x 12 inches. Half leather, leather on spine very attractive, corners rubbed, some stains and wrinkling to cloth on boards. Both interior hinges neatly reinforced. Some scattered toning and foxing with an occasional stain. Very solid, generally clean and crisp.
