Not a super tight drag but enough to prevent overrun. No wobble or other issues. This is a later reel, not made in Croydon, but made by JW Young for Farlow's after WWII. No line grooves whatsoever. Correct smooth brass foot attached with three screws. Handle spins freely. Reel weighs 9

Not a super tight drag but enough to prevent overrun. No wobble or other issues. This is a later reel, not made in Croydon, but made by JW Young for Farlow's after WWII. No line grooves whatsoever. Correct smooth brass foot attached with three screws. Handle spins freely. Reel weighs 9 oz. Reel foot measures 3.1 inches. Spool width 1.1". Unique steelhead/salmon reel. Good capacity and the spool is palmable.
