With a claimed weight of just 175g and the long, low-rise profile favored in enduro circles, the Race Face Next Flat Wide Handlebar is ideally suited for rocking hard whether you're cleaning steep grades or shredding lines through rock gardens and across trail furniture. In fact, Race Face is so confident in its own unidirectional carbon fiber expertise that it claims these featherweight bars are leaden enough to be suitable for DH runs. Given the amount of reinforcement poured onto the stem-clamp area -- which is where most bars yield to stress and square hits -- we're not prepared to second-guess that assertion. Failure never even crosses our minds on the trail, though, as the bar's length and stiffness help keep us glued to lines and focused purely on the trail.
