Lesson 1: Christmas Doesn’t Come From a Store
Scripture: Luke 1:26-38, Angel Visits Mary
Christmas isn’t about presents in a store or decorations in the home. Christmas started in a small town, when an angel visited Mary and told her that she was going to have a baby and that baby would be the Savior of the world. At that point, no one could steal Mary’s joy.

Lesson 2: Messiah Who?
Scripture: Matthew 1:18-25, Angel Visits Joseph
When Joseph discovered that his fiancé Mary was going to have a baby, he was very confused. He knew the baby wasn’t his, but Joseph didn’t know WHO this baby was. An angel visited Joseph in a dream to reveal the truth: This baby was the promised Messiah. Joseph took Mary as his wife and raised Jesus as his son, knowing exactly WHO he was – the Savior of the world. 
Objective: Kids will learn “Jesus is my Savior; no one can steal my peace.”

Lesson 3: Hearts That Grew 3 Sizes That Day
Scripture: Luke 2:1-20, The Birth of Jesus
When the angels appeared to the shepherds, they were excited to go see the Savior that had been born. Their excitement only grew when they saw Jesus, and then when they went out and shared their excitement with others. 
Objective: Kids will learn “Jesus is my Savior; no one can steal my excitement.”  

Lesson 4: You’re A Mean One, Mr. Herod
Scripture: Matthew 2:1-12, Magi
When Herod learned that a new king had been born, he was angry. He didn’t want anyone to steal his crown away. He devised a plan to have the Magi tell him exactly where to find Jesus. But God had different plans. 
Objective: Kids will learn “Jesus is my Savior; no one can steal God's plan for me.”
