A very clean, crisp copy of one of Alexander Whyte's more desirable works and inscribed by White to Archibald McCaig. McCaig wrote Wonders of Grace in Russia on the revival there in the early 20th century, wrote a section for the classic "Fundamentals," etc., was close friends with Thomas Spurgeon, and served as President of Spurgeon College after Charles Haddon Spurgeon's death.
Whyte, Alexander. Thomas Shepard. Pilgrim Father and Founder of Harvard. His Spiritual Experience and Experimental Preaching. Edinburgh and London. Oliphant Anderson and Ferrier. 1909. First Edition. 252pp.
Very good - condition with some dulling to spine. Else, crisp, solid and clean. Blank ffep lacking. Half title inscribed by Whyte. A few minor pencil ticks, else solid and clean. A very tidy example.
