Cattleya OrchidThe Cattleya family of orchids includes a host of different shapes, sizes, and colors of flowers, although many of the most common and popular are known for large blooms. They tend to bloom in the spring months, and enjoy moderate watering when they've completely dried (keep them a little moister when they are in bud). Cattleyas require more sun than Phaelanopsis, and like most orchids are best repotted after its blooms have died back.
