For sale here is a simply gorgeous hollow-built bamboo rod hand-crafted in Japan by Tetuya Suzuki. 7'9 with three sections and one tip for a five weight line. Suzuki-san's edges on this hex rod are some of the sharpest I've seen. His attention to detail and cosmetics are also beyond reproach. The reel seat spacer is Japanese horse chestnut. Truncated and blued ferrules with bamboo/cork ferrule plugs. The rod's action is medium, semi-parabolic and very authoritative. The rod weighs 3 5/8 oz. This rod was also very well-received at the Catskills Rodmakers' Gathering this year. Suzuki-san has been making rods in Japan for over twenty years.
