The T-REVα system is a pressure reduction system that uses the negative pressure of the intake manifold. When installed, the crankcase internal pressure, which is positive pressure, changes to negative pressure. Negative pressure means that the air density remaining inside the crankcase is reduced. Lowering the air density in the crankcase reduces the weight of air that moves violently within the crankcase during engine operation, and reduces the air stirring resistance that occurs as the engine rotates. In other words, lowering the internal pressure of the crankcase = lowering the air density inside the crankcase = making it easier to move because the weight of the air is lighter = reducing the resistance when the engine rotates. As a result, the engine feeling becomes smoother and the roughness of each operation is greatly reduced.

By attaching the T-REV body to the breather path, backflow from the air cleaner is prevented. However, simply stopping the backflow may cause the crankcase internal pressure to drop too much when the accelerator is OFF, where the negative pressure generated from the standard genuine PCV valve path is strong. Therefore, ``at the beginning of development, we canceled the genuine PCV valve route + installed a pressure reducing valve in the genuine blow-by route'' to reduce the pressure. However, this system had weaknesses such as ``the mechanism of the genuine PCV valve path cannot be utilized'' and ``the depressurization effect is weak.'' Therefore, we have installed a valve that takes in outside air when the internal pressure of the crankcase drops too much. This T-REVα system-specific valve sucks out blow-by gas from the PCV valve path, and the adjustable system-specific valve connected to the T-REV body takes in fresh air to maintain an appropriate depressurized state. This is the biggest feature of the REVα system.
