Use NetClaw (Net Claw) Hooks on I section or C section beams to effectively suspend safety nets directly from the steel frame. This allows the net to be as close as possible below the working level. Additionally, NetClaw hooks conform to BS EN 1263-2 standards. The NetClaw hook is 25mm in size, using 8mm zinc plated carbon sprung steel. At all times, ensure that safety net installation is in line with the requirements of BS EN1263-2. Please ensure that the steelwork:

• is capable of taking a 6kN load at 45º
• has I or C section beams
• the 25mm NetClaw must not be used where the flange thickness is less than 8mm or greater than 24mm.

A NetPole can facilitate the attachment of the NetClaw Hook and net to the steel beam, so installation of the safety net can be from ground level. This reduces the risks of working from ladders, towers or platforms, particularly at the building edge and internal openings. The aluminium NetPole can be supplied on a made-to-order basis.
