With the release of the redesigned 2015 Mustang, a new strut and shock design was needed. The same industry leading dual bleed adjustability is carried forward on both the front and rear shocks. The rear shock has been designed into a coil over application . This kit has been developed with Shelby North America to ensure the best possible damping and spring combination is being used to maximize the performance of this awesome car.

7/8” SHAFT
Large diameter shaft provides rigidity.
Shaft seals/wiper keeps dirt and air out while maintaining
very low friction.
NOTE: A small amount of residual fluid on shaft is normal. If you notice
a puddle of oil, contact Shelby North America or Penske Racing
Shocks.
RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Each full clockwise revolution of Ride Height
Adjuster adds 1/8” (.125”) of Spring Preload.
CORTEX RACING OUTER HOUSING
Penske Racing Shocks Strut insert is fitted in
an outer housing made by Cortex Racing which
retrofits our strut cartridge to existing strut
mounting points.

DUAL BLEED KNOBS
Clicks of adjustment are measured from the full hard needle position (turn knob
clockwise until it stops). This ensures repeatability each time the damping is adjusted a
certain number of “clicks”. Clicks are counted negative from this full hard position.
