Chili Bullet (بلٹ مرچ) is a hot pepper variety that produces short, pointed fruits with strong heat and a sharp flavour. It grows best in warm weather, full sunlight, fertile well-drained soil, and regular watering without waterlogging. Suitable for garden beds or 8–10-inch pots, this hybrid chilli is useful for fresh chutneys, pickles, sauces, curries, and everyday spicy cooking. Chillies originated in the Americas and later spread across Asia, where they became an important part of local food and kitchen gardening.
When to Sow: February to April or July to August
Where to Grow: 10–12 inch pots, rooftop grow bags, or sunny garden beds
Sowing Instructions:
Fertilizer & Care
How many chilies will I get from one plant?
A single mirch plant can give 40–60 chilies across the season with regular picking and balanced feeding.
Why are my chili flowers falling off?
Usually due to heat stress or poor pollination. Keep soil evenly moist and gently shake the plant to aid pollination.
Can I get red chilies from these seeds?
Yes — if left on the plant longer, green chilies will naturally turn red and become hotter in flavor.
Do chili plants need pollinators?
Outdoors, bees and wind help. On balconies, lightly tap flowers or use a soft brush to self-pollinate.
How long will each plant produce?
Each plant can yield for 4–5 months with proper care. Sow new seeds monthly for a steady harvest.
Other Names: Green Chili, Green Chili Pepper, سبز مرچ, Sabz Mirch.
