Treebeard, the most venerable of the ancient Ents, is a towering figure whose presence has graced the forests of Middle-earth since time immemorial. Since the loss of the Entwives, Treebeard has mostly remained within the boundaries of Fangorn Forest, focusing on protecting his domain. Should any threat emerge, Treebeard's wrath is sure to follow.

Meriadoc Brandybuck, often known as Merry, is a Hobbit with a reputation for mischief and playful antics. His knack for causing trouble, such as triggering Gandalf's fireworks, often earns him the Grey Wizard's exasperation. However, Merry's journey takes a serious turn as he joins Frodo in his epic quest, embarking on adventures that will forever alter his life.

Peregrin Took, or Pippin to his friends, is a jovial Hobbit who delights in his carefree life of fun and games with Merry. Yet, when he joins the Fellowship of the Ring, Pippin is faced with challenges far beyond his usual concerns—and the loss of his beloved second breakfast from The Shire.

In this set, Treebeard is a formidable leader of the Fangorn army list, embodying both his narrative significance and his overwhelming power in battle. He can carry Merry and Pippin on his branches, reflecting the iconic Last March of the Ents. Additionally, Merry and Pippin are included as separate models on foot, having recently grown taller from drinking Ent-draught, which has given them a notable enchanted growth spurt.
