Down by the LochThe colours of the heath grace the few pockets of arable soil between the bones of the Highlands in the north of Scotland. A small unidentified loch winds its way between steep craggy ridges, themselves painted with shades of muted colours from their geological composition and possibly lichens. The sombre mood is heightened by the cloud curtain cascading from the ridges of the far off mountain range. There is a great peace "Down by the Loch".
