This Beautiful Vintage American Indian Santo Domingo Necklace is composed of hand polished Royston turquoise nuggets, rounds and tiny heishi or heishe shell beads. This fabulous necklace features 3 strands of turquoise beads accented with natural red coral and spaced with fine light brown shell heishi, The necklace ends with traditional long sterling silver cones and a hook and eye closure. The Santo Domingo Pueblo is very well known for their bead jewelry and especially for its hand-rolled heishi beads.

These turquoise nuggets are sized an average of 7mm to 14mm and are a greenish blue color with golden brown mottled or webbed matrix. It's almost impossible to get this quality of turquoise and coral today. Absolutely enchanting! Its significant length and pleasing colors will make this a necklace you will enjoy for years!
