For sale here is a South Creek bamboo rod in mint/unfished condition. It's their Gierach Signature Model - 7'9 for a 5 weight. Three pieces and two tips. The rod weighs 4 1/4 oz. and the action is on the quicker side of medium fast. From the SCL website....."It comes with oak leaf-engraved blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with a maple burl spacer and cigar grip. The wraps are medium brown, double tipped in gold silk with antique-style intermediate wraps in black. The blank is light-colored varnished bamboo." The agate stripping guide is simply stunning! Comes with original bag and tube with the original label in perfect condition. The original owner's initials are engraved into the base of the butt cap. Mike can remove these initials very easily. Since I live 20 minutes from the shop, I can get this done for the buyer prior to shipping the rod.
