Tromboguard®

Tromboguard® from Tricomed is a haemostatic dressing for the treatment of traumatic wounds, the effectiveness of which has been confirmed in clinical studies. While the active substances in the contact layer stop bleeding within 3 minutes, chitosan and alginates accelerate wound closure.

In addition, the dressing is provided with a particularly absorbent polyurethane foam that absorbs and securely traps the blood. The waterproof polyurethane membrane not only prevents direct contact with the patient's blood, but also provides secure protection of the wound against germs.
