"The sampler, designed and stitched by Nicola as a Valentine’s Day gift for her husband, has been inspired by samplers in her private collection. Nicola chose colours that are taken from her husband’s favourite shirt. The focus of the sampler is the sentiment:

Thy love divine that made me thine

Will keep me thine forever"
