Very scarce on the market, an important bound year of a periodical aligned with Augustus Toplady, John Ryland, George Whitefield, Selina Countess of Huntingdon, Rowland Hill, John Newton, Thomas Haweis, etc., Includes original hymns and poems, biographies of eminent puritans and non-conformists, etc., John Wesley began publishing His Arminian Magazine specifically in response to the present periodical.

Of special note are articles on Negro Town in New York and the interaction between black and white people in New York City and one recounting a miraculous healing from the late 17^th century. Also many article related to experimental Calvinistic theology, etc.,
