S Soft Terrain
The tread of Scorpion™ MTB Soft Terrain consists of taller and widely spaced knobs that ensure excellent ground penetration and high mechanical and chemical grip, making it perfect even for more aggressive riding styles. The height and stiffness of the knobs promote ground penetration and mechanical grip action, ensuring excellent braking and traction performance as well as great cornering support. The specific spacing of the Scorpion™ Soft Terrain knobs and the compound formulation also help shed material accumulated on the tread at low speeds.

SmartGrip Compound

HardWall
Casing with heel-to-heel protection and a hard rubber insert positioned above the bead for reliability suitable for any aggressive riding style. Multiple reinforcements incorporated into the structure improve the overall casing strength and provide greater support when riding at low pressures: with a nylon layer from heel to heel integrated into the casing plies and a thick hard rubber insert above the bead, HardWall easily handles high loads and prevents punctures. Many reinforcement technologies combined with a 60 TPI nylon casing result in a solid tire construction, enhancing reliability and ride quality without compromising weight. The HardWall MTB casing is dedicated to the trail enduro world.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless ready tires offer many advantages to the rider: the ability to use lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tire with an inner tube; reduced risk of punctures because there is no inner tube. Tubeless ready tires must be mounted on tubeless-compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants also have the added benefit of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check the sealant regularly and replace it if necessary, as it dries out over time.
